But there is another side to the city that often goes unnoticed: a city shaped by artists, architects, designers and creative thinkers who have transformed Nantes into one of Europe's most fascinating cultural destinations.

This walking tour offers a unique opportunity to explore Nantes through the eyes of a local artist.

I am an English artist who has lived in Nantes for more than twenty years. My own work is permanently exhibited in the city and, through projects connected to Le Voyage à Nantes, I have developed a deep understanding of Nantes' artistic landscape and its remarkable transformation over the past two decades.

Over the years, I have also had the privilege of meeting many of the artists whose works now form part of the city's permanent collection. These encounters have provided stories, insights and perspectives that are rarely found in guidebooks and cannot be discovered through a simple internet search.

This is not a traditional sightseeing tour.
