On arrival
Meeting Point: Karlsplatz (Stachus) — look for the white Karlsplatz sign outside the McDonald’s in front of the old city gate. Your guide will be waiting with a red umbrella and/or red lanyard for easy visibility. The tour meets and departs at 10:15am. If you are running late, just follow the pedestrian street down towards Marienplatz and keep an eye open for the group.
Things to note
We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, as the tour takes place entirely outdoors and runs in rain or shine.
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
