Munich Third Reich Origins Tour
Overview
The experience begins with a short historical film introducing Munich between 1913 and 1933. Using archival footage, photographs, and maps, the film provides context before the walking tour begins, helping guests understand the political instability and social tensions that shaped the city during this turbulent period.
As you walk through Munich’s historic streets, you’ll visit the places where early political meetings, speeches, and encounters took place. The tour focuses on how a movement gradually developed through everyday locations rather than dramatic moments alone.
Throughout the tour, guides use historic images, visual comparisons, and authentic artifacts—including hyperinflation banknotes and other period items—to bring the history to life.
The tour concludes at the NS Documentation Center Munich, where guests receive free entry to explore the museum.
