Overview
Munich’s Lively South—Architecture, Street Art, and Hidden Corners.
This small-group tour (max. 16 guests) takes you through Munich’s creative south with Philipp, a certified official city guide and architect.
We’ll start at the striking Munich Volkstheater and then immerse ourselves in the urban scene at the Beginner’s Wall and at Bahnwärter Thiel—a colorful creative quarter made up of converted shipping containers. Along the way, you’ll discover the Alte Utting, a former steamship that now serves as an extraordinary beer garden, and learn fascinating facts about Munich’s water and city history.
The route continues along the Isar River, through the charming Scherbenviertel neighborhood and the whimsical Little Venice, before we end at Gans Woanders—one of the city’s most imaginative beer gardens. Urban, relaxed, and full of surprises—ideal for curious explorers and families. Best regards, Philipp
Good to know: To keep things simple, I only accept contactless payments by card or smartphone.
Certified official city guide & architect—family-friendly—100% 5-star Google reviews—special requests & larger groups upon request.
