Overview of the tour in Munich

On a two-and-a-half-hour walk through the city, we discover hidden and unconventional places in Munich.

We experience how the new Volkstheater in the Schlachthofviertel combines past and present and immerse ourselves in the lively and colorful world of Bahnwärter Thiel. This dynamic event and cultural space was created from 40 shipping containers decorated with graffiti.

We also follow the fascinating transformation of a decommissioned excursion steamer into one of Munich's cultural highlights - the Alte Utting. Here, it is not only the sunset and the most unusual beer garden in Munich that impress, but above all the story of how it came to be.

The tour ends at 'Gans Woanders', one of Munich's most unusual beer gardens, whose pizza and rosemary fries I can highly recommend.

On arrival

I'm waiting for you on Zenetti-Platz, near the turquoise-green street furniture (Piazza Zenetti) (corner of Tumblinger Straße and Zenetti-Straße). I am easily recognizable by my colourful rucksack. How to get there: It's best to get off at the subway station U3/6 Goetheplatz and walk 10 minutes to Zenettiplatz.
