Overview

Embark on an unforgettable slum tour in Mumbai, one of the most unique experiences the city has to offer. Dharavi, the world's second-largest slum with an annual turnover of 1 billion US dollars, awaits your exploration. Discover hidden corners and hear captivating stories that are not readily available on the internet. I've been conducting this tour since 2006, even before the release of the Slumdog Millionaire movie in 2008, which is unrelated to the slum. Having lived half of my life in various Mumbai slums, my goal is to provide an authentic glimpse into how people truly live and spend their lives in this vibrant city.

To ensure a respectful and meaningful experience, our tour groups are limited to a maximum of five people. This limitation is in place out of respect for the privacy of the residents. Additionally, I offer pick-up and drop-off services at hotels, airports, and cruise terminals for a nominal transportation fee.

Discover the heart of Mumbai with us. Book your slum tour now and rest assured, we prioritize the utmost care and comfort of our customers.

Things to note

-I kindly request that no photographs be taken during the tour to ensure the privacy and dignity of the local residents. While I understand the desire for pictures, I can make exceptions in certain circumstances. However, it's essential to remember that this tour is not meant for sightseeing or treating the area like a zoo.
-Given the narrow alleys and drains in the area, I recommend wearing closed-toe shoes for safety and comfort. Additionally, I suggest that female participants wear knee-length dresses to respect local customs and traditions.
-Please feel free to ask any questions or express any concerns during the tour. Your comfort and understanding are important to us.
