Overview
Being the oldest slum in Mumbai, Dharavi has people from every different part of India, it is quite a city within a city.
We begin our tour by visiting cottage industries and seeing how locals are engaged in other professions and discussing the working life, Later half of the time is spent visiting the residential area where we differ about social issues within the community.
Photography is restricted in some areas we visit and we make smaller groups of not more than 6 passengers per group. We try to keep our tours in Dharavi less intrusive as possible. Our Guides are from the community as well and they know the locals and in & outs of the area very well.
