Our History and Nature Walking Tour through Colon, is a natural landscape, architectural, cultural, folkloric and linguistic experience, where during 2 and a half hours we will take a tour experiencing as a local, the lifestyle of this historical residential and aristocratic area.
We will approach to the knowledge of eight varieties of the science of history, and we will also approach to the historical and cultural heritage of different populations, and especially to the historical and cultural heritage of the current Latin Celtic ethnic populations Friulian-Venetian Julian, Lombard, Piedmontese, French, Asturian, Galician and Portuguese, and of the current Celtic ethnic populations Scottish and Irish, because these nine current ethnic populations, compose the majority population within the population born in the Department of Montevideo.

This tour has a duration of 2 hours and a half, and has the following schedules on Thursdays of each week: at 10:00 and 14:00 hours in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
The starting point of the tour is at Plaza Vidiella on Avenida General Eugenio Garzón, on the corner of Lanús Street, in the neighborhood of Colón, in the north of the city of Montevideo.
