Overview
My tour is a scenic experience that encompasses knowledge about the geography, flora, fauna, foundation, and historical development of the city up to the present day, and the historical and cultural heritage of the Latin American population of Uruguay, which is descended from Italian, French, Spanish, and Portuguese Latin European populations, as well as British and Irish European populations who settled in both the Carrasco neighbourhood and the rest of the city, giving rise to the regional folkloric cultural identity.
The majority of this part of the Latin American Uruguayan population belongs to the current Celtic ethnic groups of Friulian-Venetian Julian, Lombard, Piedmontese, French, Asturian, Galician and Portuguese origin, and to the current Celtic ethnic groups of Scottish and Irish origin.
