Overview
Fun, wet, exciting, and a grand day on the sea! Join us for a day of racing F15s on the waters of Mombasa’s main harbor. The day starts at 11:30 AM at Mombasa Yacht Club, where we conduct safety briefs.
We serve a light lunch (included in your tour) and then head out onto the harbor to start racing.
Racing finishes between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM, followed by a return to the clubhouse for tea and cake before leaving.
The International Flying Fifteen is an exciting two-person racing keelboat. It has the characteristics of a dinghy, it planes (you get wet), and it’s exhilarating.
The main port of Mombasa is Kilindini Harbour, which covers almost 20 square kilometers, allowing plenty of space for racing. We provide skippers where necessary, safety equipment, and a rescue boat.
The day is a great experience with a difference, and if you are a competent skipper, you could even sail your own boat.
The tour is usually a wet tour, so it requires clothing suitable for the beach. Plenty of sunscreen, a hat, and shoes that can get wet are also needed. We require a minimum of four participants to run the tour, and we are flexible on operating days.

On arrival
We work from the Mombasa Yacht Club in Liwatoni on the Mombasa Island south side. If you come by taxi or tuk-tuk, ask the driver to take you to Mombasa Yacht Club near the old Likoni footbridge.
Things to note
Please remember this is a wet outdoors event and you need to have clothes you can get wet, along with a hat and wet shoes. (not Flip Flops).
