Overview
Our Private Tour of Legends, History, and Nature through the city of Mar del Plata, the Peralta Ramos Forest, the cliffs of Chapadmalal, the countryside, the forests, and the Sierra de los Padres in the General Pueyrredón district of Buenos Aires Province, is an experience that encompasses natural landscapes, architecture, culture, folklore, and language. Over the course of 8 hours, we will travel by van and on foot, experiencing the lifestyle of this historic residential and rural area as a local would.
We will explore eight branches of historical science, as well as the historical and cultural heritage of various populations, with a special focus on the historical and cultural heritage of the current Celtic, Latin, Friulian-Venetian, Julian, Lombard, Piedmontese, French, Asturian, Galician, and Portuguese ethnic groups, as well as the current Scottish and Irish Celtic ethnic groups, since these nine ethnic groups make up the majority of the population born in the General Pueyrredón District.

On arrival
This tour lasts 8 hours and is offered twice daily, Monday through Sunday, at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.
The tour begins and ends at the Gran Hotel Provincial in the city of Mar del Plata.
In addition, our guests have the option to request a pickup from their hotels before the tour begins and a drop-off at their hotels upon the tour’s conclusion.
We will have an hour of free time to have lunch at the restaurant called La Cabaña del Bosque.
