Tour of Manila's Urban Heritage
Overview
Along the way, we can take breaks in between cafés, local museums, and even take public transportation like the Philippine jeepney (or hail a cab) if preferred! A major stop at the end would be "Ocampo Pagoda mansion", a one-of-a-kind former summer house that needs restoration.
This activity includes:
- Pasig River Esplanade
- Jones Bridge
- 1919 Grand Cafe
- Ocampo Pagoda
- Plaza Mexico
- Site Fees
- Public transportation fees (if needed)
Our Guides
On arrival
Let's meet at the central marker with the texts: "1564-1964" (IV Centenario de la Expedición Marítima México Filipinas memorial)
Things to note
This is generally a walking tour; if continuous, it would be a full 3-kilometer walk from Intramuros to Chinatown - Quiapo. I'll gauge the group if you'd prefer to take public transportation or hail a taxi for our major stop, and if we can enter smaller community museums nearby. With these, please ensure comfortable walking attire (shoes, clothes), pack light, and use smaller bags. Using hats, sunscreens, and umbrellas, as well as bringing your personal water bottle, is encouraged.
Free Cancellation
Free Cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts. Late cancellation or your non-arrival is not refundable.
