Overview of the tour in Manchester

This tour primarily tells the story of how Manchester’s Canal Street came to be known as the Gay Village. Through monuments, memorials, street art and historic pubs – you’ll learn about Manchester’s LGBT+ heroes, past and present. These tours are a great way to get insider recommendations, meet similar minded people, and connect with our Queer past. The tour is led by Mancunian LGBT identifying History MA graduates.
