Meeting Point – Descent of the Ganges (Mahabalipuram)
The meeting point is in front of the Descent of the Ganges / Arjuna’s Penance monument in the Mahabalipuram town center.
If Coming by Car / Taxi
Ask the driver to drop you at Arjuna’s Penance Parking Area.
It is located on East Raja Street, near the main monument complex.
From the parking area, walk 2–3 minutes to reach the monument entrance.
Your guide will wait near the main ticket counter or entrance gate.
If Coming by Bus
Get down at Mahabalipuram Bus Stand.
From the bus stand, it is about 10 minutes walking distance.
Walk towards the Shore Temple direction and follow signs for “Arjuna’s Penance.”
If Coming by Auto / Tuk-Tuk
Tell the driver: “Arjuna’s Penance meeting point.”
They will drop you directly near the entrance.
