During this walking tour, we will visit Rynok Square, the Opera Theatre, and the main historical and contemporary sites of the old town. You will discover the historic center of Lviv, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List!
We will walk the old town’s main avenues, squares, and narrow cobbled streets. One of the places we will see is the Opera House on Svoboda Avenue, laid out above the underground Poltva River.
We will see the oldest and most gorgeous churches and cathedrals in the old town including the Baroque-style Jesuit Cathedral, the Virgin Mary Assumption church, the Armenian Cathedral, the Church of the Blessed Eucharist (former Dominican Church), the Latin Cathedral, Market Square, Orthodox Assumption Church and Opera House.
