Overview

Soho may be small on the map, but it is one of London’s most extraordinary hidden treasures, a 400 year old jewel packed with secrets, legends and remarkable moments that most people walk straight past.

Discover a glimpse of the astonishing true stories behind this 45 stop experience. Wander along Greek Street, where Casanova flirted outrageously and fled from a furious husband. Stand before the medieval church where condemned prisoners paused for their final drink on the way to execution.

Follow in the footsteps of Charles Dickens, whose experiences here helped inspire Oliver Twist. Discover the intimate Soho bar where a teenage Amy Winehouse secretly sang long before fame. See Britain’s Tin Pan Alley, where a young Elton John once worked as an office boy.

Visit the pub that became Charles de Gaulle’s Free French headquarters during the Second World War. See where David Bowie recorded his first album on credit, where Beatlemania first erupted, and where Jimi Hendrix gave his final Soho performance.

This is not a dry history tour, but a lively, fun and unforgettable journey through hidden Soho.
