Beginning at the peaceful surroundings of Postman's Park, you'll discover stories of everyday heroism and London's forgotten past before exploring the former headquarters of Britain's postal network, once the communications center of a global empire.
Cross the River Thames to Shakespeare's Globe and the lively South Bank, where you'll learn how this riverside district evolved from a medieval entertainment quarter into one of London's cultural centers. Pass the historic Oxo Tower, search for traces of London's ancient shoreline on Thames Beach, and hear fascinating stories about the river that made London one of the world's great cities.
Continue past the National Theatre and the mysterious ancient monument known as Cleopatra's Needle before entering the legal district of Temple, home to centuries of lawyers, knights, and royal intrigue. The tour concludes at Charing Cross, the traditional center of London and the point from which all distances to the capital are measured.

We will be waiting off to the right side of the church with a Dawn Tours sign.
