The tour begins at Green Park Station, next to the Artemis Fountain, the perfect meeting point to begin an experience focused on the history and traditions of the British monarchy. From there, we’ll walk to St. James’s Palace, one of the oldest in the United Kingdom, where we’ll watch the first changing of the guard, featuring the Royal Guards in their distinctive red uniforms and bearskin hats.
We’ll continue along Birdcage Walk to the military barracks, where we’ll watch a second guard change and learn more about the organization of royal ceremonies. While the guards make their way to Buckingham Palace, we’ll stroll through beautiful St. James’s Park, enjoying its paths, lake, and wildlife.
Our walk will take us along The Mall, London’s grand ceremonial avenue, where we’ll admire historic residences such as Clarence House and Lancaster House. Finally, we’ll arrive at Buckingham Palace to watch the last two Changing of the Guard parades; a ceremony steeped in tradition, precision, and symbolism that is one of the most iconic experiences in the British capital.
