Explore London's world-famous music history on the only free walking tour of London dedicated to London's music industry.

Led by your local guide, you'll visit the home of British music at Tin Pan Alley and find where Elton John wrote the songs 'Rocketman' and 'Your Song,' Tom Jones recorded 'It's Not Unusual' and the location of Adele's first ever show.

You'll find the famous rooftop where The Beatles did their final ever performance and The Marquee Club - home of The Who, Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, and many more.

You'll see where David Bowie posed for his album cover in 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust,' get up close to Trident Studios, where the legendary Freddie Mercury and Queen recorded multiple albums, and visit Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, where Jimi Hendrix performed for the final time along with many more iconic London music spots all on one of the best free walking tours in London.

The tour starts in front of The White Hart Pub in Covent Garden. The address of The White Hart is 191 Drury Lane.

On arrival please look for your tour guide holding the yellow umbrella.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the tour begins to check in with your guide.

If travelling by London Underground, then Tottenham Court Road Station is on the Central Line and Northern Line. Both Holborn Station and Leicester Square Station are also a short walk to the meeting point.

Things to note

This tour covers approximately 2-3 miles of walking. Due to uneven surfaces and unavoidable stairs, this tour is not suitable for those with wheelchairs, walking difficulties or large prams/buggys.

IMPORTANT - It will not be possible to accept a group of 8 or more people (including children). Please do not try and book a group of 8 or more people across multiple bookings or using multiple names as these will be cancelled or turned away.
