Tour of Lisbon's Street Art
Overview
While strolling through Lisbon's historic centre, with a focus on the Graça district, you'll discover how graffiti and urban art give soul and color to the city's walls. You'll learn more about (inter)national artists and discover the different forms of expression, styles, techniques, and materials these artists used to leave their mark on the city, whether legally or illegally. We will highlight the history from the roots of graffiti to the multiplicity of urban art nowadays. The interventions in our urban landscapes have a lot to teach us about culture and individuals as much as about political, economic, and social issues.
