During this tour, we will visit the Baixa and Chiado districts, which make up the heart of the historic center of Lisbon. The appointment for the Free Tour is in "Piazza Rossio" under the tricolor umbrella. During the visit of the various buildings of the 2 districts we will talk about the millenary history of the city, about the various natural and man-made calamities that hit it, such as the terrible earthquake of 1755. We will talk about more recent times, the Estado Novo di Salazar, until the Carnation Revolution. And we will conclude with a tribute to the famous poet Fernando Pessoa.
