Overview
We’ll begin this walking tour by meeting in front of Huaca Pucllana, one of Lima’s most amazing archaeological treasures… yes, right in the heart of the city.
After a brief introduction, we’ll go inside to explore the imposing adobe pyramids dating back to 200 A.D. Here, we’ll travel back in time to discover who built this site.
Then we’ll change scenery and head to the charming Parque El Olivar, a true oasis in the heart of San Isidro. Amid centuries-old olive trees, elegant embassies, and peaceful corners, it’s the perfect place to relax and get to know another side of the city.
Our next stop will be Huaca Huallamarca (closed on Sundays and Mondays). Generally, the tour is just an exterior visit, but we can go inside if time permits and you’d like to. We’ll climb its distinctive truncated pyramid and, from the top, enjoy a unique view of Lima, dating back to approximately 200 B.C.
Important to note: During the tour, there will be two admission fees: S/ 15 for Huaca Pucllana and S/ 5 for Huaca Huallamarca (subject to opening hours).
The tour will end at this point.
