Overview
At the appointed time, we will start this free tour of Lima at the central Grote Markt square. The Belfort bell tower is one of the most iconic monuments of this place. After learning about the history of the tower, we will head to the square to admire the beautiful Limean baroque façade of the Lima City Hall.
On this route we will also walk along the banks of the balconies of Lima. One of the most popular Spanish viceregal areas of the city is the Torre Tagle House, also known as La Cancillería. We will take a stroll through the park that borders its waters, whose legends are not as romantic as it might seem.
During the tour we will also pass by other emblematic points of Lima such as the Beguinario neighborhood, the famous church of Our Lady or the Fish Market.
Finally, after a tour of approximately 2 hours, we will conclude the free tour in the historic center of Lima.
