Overview

I invite you to discover Leuven as I live it and feel it through an interesting and anecdotal walk. Among the places we will visit are:
- Big Square (Grote Markt)
- San Pedro church
- University of Leuven
- Old market (Oude Markt)
- Paus Collegue (Pope's College)
- Library of the University of Leuven
- San Donato Park (Sint Donatuspark)
- Great Beaterio (Groot Begijnhof)
- Atrecht Collegue

If you want, I will also share my recommendations for places to eat and drink. The city has pubs and excellent restaurants for all budgets.

Are you coming to study an Erasmus or PhD or are you coming to do a stage or work in a Postdoc? Do not hesitate to register for the tour, I will give you a lot of information to improve your stay in this beautiful university city.

It is recommended to book in advance since if you do not have reservations, the guide will not be presented to the meeting point.

**Reservations for more than 5 adults**
This tour does not accept groups of more than 5 people with the Freetour modality, if they exceed the maximum number per group, they will be given the option of doing the tour with a payment modality (€10 per person).

On arrival

Next to the side of the Peace Monument by the "Martelarenplein” in front of the main entrance of the train station. I use an orange lanyard (lanyard).

Things to note

Are you coming to the city by train? Find out how long the trip will take from the point you come. If you are in Brussels the quickest option is to take the trains to Liege (Luik), Genk or Eupen. The first stop of these trains after leaving Brussels is Louvain (Leuven).

Do you return by plane in the afternoon or in the evening to your destination country? Take advantage of your last day in Belgium! Zaventem is less than 15 minutes by train from Leuven, you can take the tour in the morning, and then you can move quietly to the airport.

Come prepared with your camera or your mobile and with comfortable shoes to enjoy this tour.
