Overview of the tour in Leon

Thanks to our tour, you will learn more about the most important monument in León.

We will start with a brief introduction to finding out what conditions existed until the creation of the cathedral. We will learn about its rich sculptural program and, once inside, our guide will show you the beauty of the cathedral's stained glass windows (more than 1700 square meters of glazed area), as well as other quite important elements such as the choir (one of the choirs oldest in Spain), the Capilla Mayor, the tomb of King Ordoño II, the Virgen Blanca and the different side chapels.

Finally, we will visit the Cloister, with its interesting paintings and its infinity of curiosities.

On arrival

The guide will wear a BLUE JACKET with the words GUIDED VISIT on the back and the GANDA TURISMO logo.

Things to note

When making the reservation, keep in mind that:

- The entrance ticket to the cathedral is NOT included, you will have to manage the entrance directly with the guide when you meet him. The entrance fee to the cathedral is € 6 / person (children aged 12 and under and people with a disability card have free entry to the cathedral).

- Children under 12 years old do not need a reservation, so do not include them in the total number of people.

-The tour needs a minimum of adults for its realization (4 people), but don't worry, if the limit is not reached, we will propose alternatives. It is advisable to make a prior reservation, especially in the high season so that we can secure your place. Likewise, it is also necessary to indicate the telephone number to complete your reservation, so we can notify you in case there is any change in the schedule or meeting point. In case of not being able to keep the appointment, indicate it so that we take it into account.

- Our guide will start the visit on PUNCTUALITY, so we ask that you be at the starting point a few minutes before to be able to locate the guide. In case you arrive in a rush of time, we ask that you notify the guide so that he or she takes it into account.

- Whenever possible, a radio guide system will be used, so that you can comfortably hear the guide at all times.
