How does it relate to the rest of the country’s history? And where are the hidden secrets you should visit? I will tell you all about it in a two-hour walk, where you will learn about the city's history, food, artists, scientists, language and much more.
As a historian myself, you can trust me to make the best out of these two hours, where you will learn a lot in a fun and engaging way. The time will fly away and in the end, you still have only seen a small piece of Leiden. That's why I will also give tips for further exploration.

You can find me on the Beestenmarkt, near the water, in front of the 'Rondvaart' company. You can recognise me by my green/blue backpack.

Of course, the tour is for free and it is up to you to decide at the end if you found it worth something. I am having fun doing this so do not feel forced to pay up, only tip me if you had a great time.
Also: rain, sun or snow, we will go. Bring your umbrella and let the city amaze you, even in traditional Dutch weather. Besides, the snowy streets of Leiden once made me fall in love with the city.
