Overview
We’ll meet in front of the Arucas Church, the city’s crown jewel, where we’ll begin the tour by discussing the city’s origins, its founding, and the history behind it. Then we’ll wander through the streets of the old town, admiring the typical Canarian architecture and learning some interesting facts and legends about the area.
We’ll stop at Parque de la Constitución, where we’ll discover some hidden details from the last century, and then head to the beautiful Parque de las Flores, which we’ll walk through while admiring the vegetation and the historic buildings that remain in the city as reminders of centuries past.
Finally, we’ll end the tour on a sweet note by visiting the Arehucas rum distillery, where you can, if you’d like, take a guided tour of the facilities where what is considered the best rum in Spain is produced.

We are located in the Plaza de San Juan, in front of the doors of the church of Arucas. In case you come by car, there is a public parking right next door, just 5 minutes walk from the meeting point. In case you come by public transport, the bus station of Arucas is about 10-15 minutes walk from the meeting point.
