Being an “old school” traveler and experienced hotelier myself, who has already served thousands of travelers from all over the world, I love to show my town in an alternative and independent manner, a bit apart from the same old tours for tourists. So, you will see and hear what most people don't. You will get unbiased tips for food, activities, day trips, and even other places if you wish—not to mention avoiding the “traps.”
After this tour, you will have a good idea of what has happened in this town from its origins to the present day.
Hear some legends, myths, and stories of one of the oldest human settlements in Europe and how events such as battles or natural disasters dramatically changed this area's human and natural shape.
We guide in small groups only, and it will take around two hours (maybe some minutes more). Better for the guests, better for us, and better for the town. Thank you for supporting real local people.
Please note: unfortunately, my tour is hard for kids younger than 8 years old, including babies.

On arrival
At the Lagos Castle, by the main avenue, please find an arch. I will be in front of that arch (in the shadow) with a cream bag with the logo of the Portuguese caravel (and a phone in one hand)
Things to note
All the places we visit are considered outside visits, with no entry fees. The days may be warm, and there are some ups and downs in this town. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring some water. Please note: unfortunately, my tour is a bit hard for kids younger than 8 years old.
