We begin at Plaza España in Sopocachi, La Paz’s bohemian neighborhood, visiting a scenic viewpoint while gaining orientation and historical insight. Next, we ride the iconic Cable Cars, an essential part of daily life in La Paz, enjoying breathtaking views and learning about the relationship between La Paz and El Alto while exploring lesser-known areas and hidden gems.
- On Thursdays and Sundays, the tour includes a short walk through El Alto’s famous flea market.
After the cable car ride, we continue through La Paz’s historic center, focusing on architecture, recent history, and current social life. We conclude in the touristic district, learning about Andean beliefs and traditions still present in modern urban life.
