Free Tour of the Mysteries and Legends of La Coruña
Overview
We will start this free tour in María Pita square, where we will learn about the history of the local heroine and the secrets hidden in this emblematic place. From there, we will go to Azcárraga square, one of the oldest corners, scene of clandestine meetings and key episodes in the history of the city.
We will continue to the convent of Santo Domingo, shrouded in stories of faith, mystery and popular beliefs. Afterwards, we will enter the garden of San Carlos to discover the story of Sir John Moore, whose tomb holds a past full of emotion and symbolism.
We will continue to the Military and Royal Hospital, witness of epidemics, ancient treatments and human dramas. Later, we will visit the castle of San Anton, a fortress and prison full of secrets and resistance.
We will finish next to the monument to the patron saint of sailors, where we will talk about the maritime tradition, shipwrecks and legends that have marked the soul of the city.

- Free payment for each attendee at the end of the visit.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time of the activity.
- Punctuality is important. Reservations for visits will be held for 5 minutes after the start of the visit. Once this time has elapsed, places on the waiting list will be released.
- In case of non-attendance, please cancel or communicate the reservation so that the guide will not be waiting and consequently make the rest of the attendees wait. Likewise, the places would be available for other people. The link to cancel the reservation or how to contact us is included in the reservation confirmation you receive.
- We do not accept reservations for more than 6 people in the same group of friends/family. In case of making separate reservations for a group larger than 6 people, the guide may reject the attendees at the same meeting point.
