Tour of Kutaisi: Explore Tskaltubo Town and Tetra Caves
Overview
The first stop is Sataplia Nature Reserve, renowned for its preserved dinosaur footprints, stunning caves, and lush Colchic forests. You will be able to explore the illuminated Sataplia Cave, walk on a glass observation deck with panoramic views, and learn about the region’s prehistoric past at the museum.
The second stop is the Tetra caves, a natural monument situated in Tskaltubo Municipality at an elevation of 140 meters above sea level. Experience a cognitive tour of the cave, Speleotherapy, and taste locally produced wines.
After exploring the caves, we will head to explore the hidden beauty of Tskaltubo town.
Tskaltubo is famous for its abandoned Soviet-era spa resorts. These grand, decaying buildings now attract urban explorers, photographers, and history enthusiasts, offering a haunting yet fascinating glimpse into the past.
The tour will be finished in Kutaisi.

On arrival
Our meeting point is located in Kutaisi City Center, in front of the fountain near the white columns. This spot is well-known and easily accessible.
Location: White Columns, in front of the central fountain (Colchis fountain), Kutaisi
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the tour's start time.
If you're coming by taxi, just ask the driver to take you to the central fountain in Kutaisi.
If you're walking, head toward the city park (Park of Kutaisi Central Square), and you’ll see the large fountain surrounded by white columns.
Look for the person with the TourHub Georgia sign.
