Krakow: Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour with Transport
Overview
Upon arrival, your guide assists with everything on site. Please note that the entrance ticket is purchased independently on arrival at the official museum price. Your guide will handle the entire process so you don't need to arrange anything in advance.
Then descend deep beneath the surface with a licensed museum guide and spend approximately 2.5 hours exploring tunnels, chambers, underground lakes, salt sculptures, and historic mining equipment created over centuries of activity.
The highlight of the visit is St. Kinga's Chapel, an enormous underground church carved entirely from rock salt, featuring chandeliers, intricate reliefs, and sculptures created by miners over centuries.
After returning to the surface, board the vehicle for the journey back to Krakow, with your local guide on hand.

Krakow Central Bus Station – Upper Floor, Stand G5. Enjoy a comfortable indoor meeting point with seating, restrooms, shops, snacks, and drinks available before departure. Our staff will also be happy to assist with any questions.
Things to note
Entrance ticket (169 PLN) is purchased on arrival by card or cash. No advance reservation is needed; your tour leader will assist you with the entire process on the day.
The temperature underground ranges between 14° and 16° C.
There are 800 steps to climb of which 350 at the beginning take you down into the mine.
The time may change due to the availability of the guides in the museum so please consider this in your plans.
