Overview
Enjoy this relaxed tour through the historic town of Kotor, which dates back to the 5th century. I will begin by sharing a few interesting facts about Montenegro, and then we’ll dive into the fascinating history of this beautiful coastal town.
For this unique experience I have placed a limit of 6 pax so that I can dedicate enough time for each participant.
Our journey starts at the South Gate, one of the original entrances to the old city. From there, we’ll stroll through charming narrow streets until we reach the Cathedral of St. Tryphon, an iconic Romanesque church built in the 12th century. Next, we’ll make our way to the main square, now located by the Sea Gate, the current main entrance to the city.
We’ll conclude our tour at the North Gate, which once served as a strategic access point and escape route.
At the end of the tour, I’ll gladly recommend additional sites and local spots for you to explore on your own, whether you're interested in museums, viewpoints, or great places to eat.
