We start in Bovec, surrounded by the Julian Alps, and explore the *Velika korita* of the Soča River, impressive gorges carved by crystal clear water. We continue to Kobarid, the scene of intense battles during the First World War. We will visit the Italian Ossuary, a moving monument honoring the fallen, and the Kobarid Museum, awarded for its moving historical narrative. The route continues to Tolmin, where the *Tolminska korita* awaits us with its walkways over the Tolminka River, hot springs and unique rock formations such as the Bear's Head. This tour combines dreamlike landscapes, trails through forests and canyons, and stories that marked the destiny of Europe. - It is advisable to bring an umbrella and/or raincoat.
- Entrance fees to the WWI museum (8€) and to the Tolmin Gorge (10€) are not included.
- Lunch in Kobarid is optional, not included in the price (20-40€)
- In summer you can swim in the rivers.
- In winter season the route can be modified, due to road repairs or interruptions.
