This tour gives you the ultimate canyoning adventure. Hike through the forest while enjoying its biodiversity. Cliff jump in safety to increase your confidence. Have fun with the natural water slides formed by the river. Rappel down the waterfall for the wonderful thrill of adrenaline.
Kitulgala lies on the banks of the Kelani River at a point where it shallow but flows quite fast, creating rapids. These have allowed for many types of adventure and water sports. Canyoning is one of them.
You will be taking a 2km hike to the location, where you will be doing the canyoning. The rainforest in Kithulgala is deep, dense and green; and very beautiful. You may get to glimpses of the wildlife while passing by.
Once you get there you will start your activities. The equipment such as safety jackets, rope and etc will be provided. You will also have instructors and a support crew accompanying you; who will be able to assist you with the basics and guide you during the activities.
You will be able to try sliding over slightly sloping, wet and smooth rock surfaces; which function as natural waterslides. You will also be able to try cliff jumping with proper safety in place.

Your adventure starts at 9:00 am at the Kitulgala adventure sports center.
