Kigali: Scenic Bike Tour: Nature & Local Culture
Overview
Starting from Nyamirambo, you'll ride past colorful streets, local markets, and community centers. We'll stop at Mount Kigali for a panoramic view, then head through peaceful green areas, including Nyandungu Eco Park and the Nyabugogo River trails. Along the way, you'll engage with local life, stop for fresh fruits or street snacks, and hear stories from your local guide. It's a perfect mix of nature, exercise, and culture.
On arrival
Please arrive at the *main entrance of the Kigali Genocide Memorial* in Gisozi. It’s a well-known location and easy to reach by taxi or motorbike. Once you arrive, look for your guide waiting just outside the entrance gate, near the security area. The guide will be holding a sign or wearing something identifiable with the tour name. If you need help finding the location, ask your driver for "Gisozi Genocide Memorial.
Things to note
The meeting point is *Kigali Genocide Memorial*, located in Gisozi, just a short drive from the city center. When you arrive at the main entrance, you’ll see a large sign marked “Kigali Genocide Memorial.” Please wait just outside the entrance gate near the security checkpoint. Your guide will be there holding a sign or wearing an identifiable badge with the tour name. If you’re coming by taxi or motorbike, simply ask to be dropped at the memorial entrance.
