09:00 - Meeting Point: We start at Gisenyi Central Station.
09:15 - 10:30: Explore Gisenyi's vibrant Central Market and historic district, including the Catholic Church of Sainte-Famille.
10:45 - 12:00: Visit a local crafts workshop to see artisans at work, followed by a tour of the Rwandan Crafts and Culture Museum.
12:15 - 13:30: Enjoy a relaxing lunch at Tam-Tam Beach, with stunning lake views.
13:45 - 15:30: Take a scenic boat ride on Lake Kivu, including some stops at some Islands for photos and exploration.
15:45 - 16:30: Relax at Gisenyi Beach and enjoy a breathtaking sunset.
17:00: End of the tour, return to the central station or transfer to your accommodation.

On arrival
Our tour starts at Gisenyi Central Station, a central and easily accessible location in the heart of Gisenyi.
From Gisenyi Main Road: Head towards the town center and follow the signs to the Central Station. The station is located near the main bus terminal and is a well-known landmark in the area.
By Taxi: Ask the driver to take you to "Gare Centrale de Gisenyi." Most local taxi drivers are familiar with this location.
On Foot: If you're staying nearby, you can easily walk to the station. It’s within a short walking distance from most central hotels and guesthouses in Gisenyi.
Please ensure you arrive at the station by 09:00 for a prompt departure. Look out for our guide, who will be holding a sign with our tour name: "Gisenyi City Tour and Kivu Lake Boat Ride."
Things to note
Meeting Time: Please arrive at Gisenyi Central Station by 09:00 for a prompt departure.
What to Wear: Comfortable walking shoes, a hat, and sunscreen are recommended. Bring a light jacket as the weather near the lake can be cool.
What to Bring: A camera for capturing the beautiful sights, some cash for lunch and any souvenirs, and a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
Lunch: The cost of lunch is not included in the tour price. Please budget 10-15 USD for a meal at Tam-Tam Beach.
Weather: The tour will take place rain or shine. In case of rain, please bring an umbrella or raincoat.
Health and Safety: If you have any dietary restrictions or medical conditions, please inform us in advance.
Local Transportation: The tour includes local transportation within Gisenyi. However, transportation to and from the meeting point is not included.
