Route: Khiva - Toprakkala - Kyzykkala - Ayazkala – Khiva
Pick-up/Drop-off: from your hotel, Ata Darwaza (West gates) of Khiva, Ichan Kala.
Furthermore, for pick-up/drop-off, you can choose Urgench airport or train station.

Description:
- In ancient times, there were many fortresses in Khorezm Oasis, and for this reason, they were named "Ellikkala," which means "50 fortresses".

- Toprakkala: the first capital of Khorezm, which means "Clay Fortress," where the first examples of city plans were found, which proves the existence of statehood in the 4th century A.C. In addition, this place is very important because it was here that the first written sources of Khorezm.

- Kizilkala: along the way, visit one of the garrison fortresses of this Oasis. By reason of the color of the clay, it became known as the "Red Fortress."

- Ayazkala: one of the more important oasis fortresses which consists of 3 parts. The name of the fortress means "Severe Frost Fortress". You can understand why it was so called only by visiting in winter because the cold of the steppe is one of the most terrible colds

- After the tour, go back to Khiva or Urgench airport/train station.

On arrival

The driver will pick you up from your hotel at Ichan Kala / Khiva Railway Station / Urgench Airport / Urgench Railway Station. Please wait in the hotel lobby 5 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
