Overview
The Alcázar of Jerez is a site of great interest. And I’m not just saying that because I’ve worked here as a guide; the fact that it’s the city’s most visited monument speaks for itself. Dating back to the Almohad period (12th–13th centuries), inside you can admire the only mosque still standing in the city today, as well as Arab baths, windmills, towers, and even a palace from the 17th–19th centuries.
During the tour, I’ll guide you through every part of the complex, and together we’ll discover the city’s history through this unique monument.

Things to note
You’ll need a ticket to enter the Alcázar. The price is €3.20—a special, discounted rate for visiting with me—or €1.80 for Jerez residents, retirees and pensioners, students of any age and nationality, and people with disabilities. You don’t need to buy tickets in advance, as you’ll have no trouble getting in when you come with me.
If there’s only one person or it’s a small group, we’ll consider offering bilingual tours.
Cancellation policy
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
