Jaca "Ruta Endemoniada" Free Tour
Overview
This isn’t your typical tour, as we’ll be exploring the most mysterious aspects of the Pyrenees in Jaca, the capital of the Kingdom of Aragon.
The tour begins at the Witch House to introduce us to the most ancient traditions, myths, and legends on a journey through the historic district that starts with its oldest and most magical myth: “Santa Orosia,” patron saint of the mountains of Jaca and of the “Endemoniadas.”
A tour inspired by the book by Carmen de Burgos, “Colombine,” and by Carlos Garcés, in which we’ll shed light on a subject as dark as it is mysterious: witches and the “endemoniadas.”
This activity includes:
- visita a la Catedral de San Pedro y Casco histórico de Jaca
- ruta original de las endemoniadas de Jaca
- Conjuro de protección
Our Guides
On arrival
The meeting point is at the entrance to JACA Witch House, or "Casa de la Bruja," at C/ Rosa, 2, 22700 (across from the Acebo Hotel).
There, we’ll begin by introducing the group, giving a brief explanation of the tour, and discussing the protective objects from the Pyrenees used against evil spirits or “mal dado.”
Immediately afterward, we’ll perform a protective spell so that the tour is an experience to connect with traditions and customs and isn’t taken as an offense.
Things to note
