Discover Izmir through the eyes of a local couple who truly love this city. Our walking tour is not a professional lecture; it’s a warm, human, and enjoyable experience designed for travelers who want to understand the real spirit of Izmir. We start at the Clock Tower, the heart of the city, before diving into the lively streets of Kemeraltı Market. Here, we explore colourful alleys, traditional shops, small artisan corners, and local flavours. If you wish, we can stop for a Turkish coffee or a quick local snack (totally optional). We continue through the historic Havra Street, where different cultures once lived together, and then walk toward the ancient Agora of Izmir. We share simple historical facts, fun stories, and local legends easy to follow, not too academic, and perfect for first-time visitors. Then we head to the iconic Asansör (Historical Elevator) for one of the best views in the city. It’s the perfect place for photos and to learn more about modern life in Izmir. Finally, we walk to the seaside promenade, Kordon, where the tour ends in a relaxed and beautiful setting by the water. We look forward to seeing you !!

Meeting Point: Clock Tower (Saat Kulesi), Konak Square
Please meet us directly in front of the Clock Tower, the famous white historic tower located in the center of Konak Square. It’s the most iconic landmark in Izmir — you can’t miss it!

How to find us:

The Clock Tower is in Konak Meydanı, right next to the sea.

Look for the white Ottoman-style tower with a small fountain around it.

We will be waiting right beside the tower, close to the small palm trees.

How to get there:

???? By metro:

Take the Izmir Metro and stop at Konak Station.

Use the “Konak Meydanı / Square” exit.

Walk straight for 2 minutes until you see the Clock Tower.

???? By tram:

Take the Konak Tram and get off at Konak stop.

The tower is a 1-minute walk.

???? By bus:

Many city buses stop at Konak, follow the signs for Saat Kulesi / Clock Tower.
