Overview
This tour covers 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We start with the first UNESCO area, where we find the Roman Hippodrome, Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet), Hagia Sophia, and Topkapı Palace Garden. In the second part, we walk through the Royal Way of the Old City to the Suleymaniye Mosque, the second UNESCO site. Finally, we are gonna end our tour on the amazing terrace of the Süleymaniye Complex with its panoramic view of the Golden Horn and Bosphorus Strait.
We also make pit stops to taste hidden gems and snap photos at Instagram-worthy spots.
The key sites we visit include:
- Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet) & Hagia Sophia (from the outside)
- German Fountain
- Topkapı Palace (from the garden or before its main gate)
- Roman Hippodrome with Obelisks
- Some Ottoman Sultan Tombs (from the outside)
- Ottoman Historical Training School (Madrassa)
- Grand Bazaar through the backstreets (except Sundays)
- Historical Book Market
- Suleymaniye Mosque and its Panoramic Terrace
The tour ends near a tram station, and we’ll help you find your way back to the city’s main points.
