Overview of the tour in Iquitos

Explore the source of the world's longest river!

• Begin your adventure with a hotel pickup at 5:00 am, heading towards Nauta city along the picturesque Iquitos-Nauta road. Witness stunning landscapes, remote villages, and vast fields of crops and livestock along the way.

• Upon arrival in Nauta, stroll through the charming central area, capturing photographs of its historic architecture and vibrant atmosphere.

• Embark on a scenic river journey along the mighty Marañón River and witness the breathtaking birth of the Amazon River, formed by the confluence of the Marañón and Ucayali rivers.

• Venture into Yarapa river Communal Reserve for a short jungle walk, discovering the rich flora and fauna of the region. Keep your eyes peeled for monkeys, iguanas, and sloths!

• Indulge in a delicious typical lunch onboard (Juanes, salads, and fresh fruit)

• Enjoy swimming while spotting gray and pink dolphins.

• Try your hand at piranha fishing in the Yarapa River.

• Return to Nauta by boat and journey back to Iquitos as the sunset is on the horizon.

• Arrive back in Iquitos City or at your hotel, filled with unforgettable memories of your Amazon adventure!

You can send us your hotel name or hotel´s location at Iquitos and we go there to pick you up at 5 am with everything ready to start.

- Repellent (recommended for those with high DEET)
- Sun block lotion.

- Medicines according to your doctor's prescription.

Important advice: Clothes must be light colors and not tight to the body.
