Sai Gon Free Tour: Twilight Hour - Walk, Talk and Taste
Overview
We begin near Tao Dan Park, then walk to meaningful landmarks such as the Thich Quang Duc Monument and hidden weapon bunkers, where quiet corners reveal untold Vietnam War stories. Passing through Ngo Gia Tu Street and the historic Nguyen Thien Thuat Apartment Complex, you’ll explore a post-war neighborhood that still preserves the rhythm of old Saigon, from family life to street-side cooking.
As night falls, we arrive at the vibrant Ho Thi Ky Flower Market, where flowers, Cambodian cultural influence, and street food culture create one of Saigon’s most colorful nighttime scenes.
Along the way, discover authentic street food including 24-hour baguette stalls, crispy snacks, fresh and fried bites, traditional rice wine, and local desserts like chuối nếp nướng and chè mâm Khánh Vy, each paired with cultural stories.
This slow-paced, story-driven walk is perfect for travelers who want to experience Saigon like a local — during its most magical hour.
