The tour will have a focus on Finnish national identity and how the modern political landscape and values were shaped by a history of war, revolution, and social responsibility.

On arrival
I will be in front of the Equestrian statue of Marshal Mannerheim, located next to the Kiasma museum of modern art. You will recognise me by the Orkney flag I'm holding (red with a yellow-blue cross).
Things to note
The tour ends in a different part of town from where it begins, only 15 minutes walk back to Kamppi, or directly at a metro and tram stop for immediate access to the city center.
