5. A short walk to the Senate Square, heart of Helsinki: Finnish history, politics, religion.
6. Katajanokka neighbourhood and its art nouveau/Jugendstil landmarks
7. Tram detour to the historic Hakaniemi Market and Finnish Food Tasting (home-made fish delights including the iconic salmon soup at the fishmonger's + coffee and pastries at one of the bakeries).
8. Tram trip to Mannerheimintie: Marshal Mannerheim, Finland's superhero of the 20th century.
9. Future in the past: Glass Palace, Chapel of Silence, and Amos Rex, Finnish perception of future at different times.
10. Tour ends at the Oodi library, transfer back to the airport by car/train.

Things to note
Times of the proposed tours are approximate and depend on your flight schedule, just message me your preferences and we can arrange the tour to your convenience. The 5 hours include the time of transfer from and back to the airport.
Please bring something in case of rain and wear comfortable walking shoes.
Our two food tastings at the Hakaniemi market (included in the price) amount to a light meal, other stops for food and drink are possible on request, but at your own expense.
Our tour has lots of history and art and is probably not exactly interesting for kids, so 12+ recommended.
If you want some particular shopping done: Marimekko outlet in Herttoniemi, Moomin shop in Lasipalatsi and so on, we will be happy to arrange it during your tour if it can be done.
Cancellation policy
Free Cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts. Late cancellation or your non-arrival is not refundable.
