At the appointed time, we will meet at the Haro Tourist Office and begin the guided tour.
To begin with, we will go back to the origins of Haro as we enter the streets of the old town. One of the most famous areas of the town is La Herradura, a place for tapas par excellence and where we will be able to see the most important points of Haro, such as the Plaza de la Paz, the Plaza de San Martín or the church of Santo Tomás.
As we explore the old town of Haro, we will tell you what the city was like in the past, specifically in the 18th century, when it enjoyed a unique splendor. You will be amazed by its perfectly preserved buildings with outstanding details on their facades.
Also, during the guided tour, we will reveal the reasons why Haro has been called the capital of Rioja. Did you know that Haro has the largest concentration of century-old wineries in the world? What makes the wine of this region special? Its wines are one of its greatest prides!
Finally, after a 45-55 minute tour, we will say goodbye and end our guided tour of Haro in the city center.
