Overview
In this experience we will get to know downtown Guadalajara through its daily life, culture and gastronomy. We will explore the heart of the city to understand how Guadalajara is lived and enjoyed on a daily basis, through its most representative spaces and its urban dynamics.
The starting point will be near the Guadalajara Cathedral and, throughout the experience, we will get to know different sites of the historic center, their stories and the role they play in the daily life of the city. We will visit emblematic places such as the Degollado Theater, the Government Palace, the House of Dogs and the Cabañas Hospice, a World Heritage Site and home to the murals of José Clemente Orozco. The experience concludes in the downtown markets, where we will approach the local activity and some of the most representative flavors of the tapatía gastronomy, a fundamental part of Guadalajara's identity.
The places visited may vary according to the day of the week and availability.
During the experience we will visit markets with gastronomic offerings; food and beverages are not included, so it is recommended to bring cash.
