Guadalajara Historic Downtown Free Tour: Everyday Life and Gastronomy
Overview
The starting point will be near the Guadalajara Cathedral and, throughout the experience, we will get to know different sites of the historic center, their stories and the role they play in the daily life of the city. We will visit emblematic places such as the Degollado Theater, the Government Palace, the House of Dogs and the Cabañas Hospice, a World Heritage Site and home to the murals of José Clemente Orozco. The experience concludes in the downtown markets, where we will approach the local activity and some of the most representative flavors of the tapatía gastronomy, a fundamental part of Guadalajara's identity.
The places visited may vary according to the day of the week and availability.
During the experience we will visit markets with gastronomic offerings; food and beverages are not included, so it is recommended to bring cash.

When you arrive at the Hospedarte Hostel in downtown Guadalajara, you will enter the building and your guide will be waiting for you in the Lobby.
