The Magic of Albaicin and Sacromonte

Federico García Lorca described it as that place where "the houses are placed as if a hurricane wind had whirled them like this". It was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1994. The smell of spring and the burst of colors come together in this urban center that would make anyone fall in love. Sacromonte is a neighborhood of the Nasrid city that has its own personality. It could be said that not only its views are truly poetry for the eyes, but also its inhabitants give the city an artistic quality that no one can ever deny. There is no one who does not let out a sigh for the work it takes to climb it. But there is also no one who is not eager to return to its streets.
