Tour for people who do not have tickets for the Nasrid Palaces but do have a ticket for the Alcazaba and gardens.
By booking this tour, you’ll avoid long lines.
The Alhambra is one of the world’s most important monuments, a World Heritage Site, and a National Monument.
If you have the ticket mentioned above, we’ll visit the Alcazaba of the Alhambra as well as the Generalife Palace and the Partal, with their beautiful gardens, orchards, ponds, and fountains.
The Alcazaba was a military zone—the oldest part—and offers incredible views of the Albaicín, the Sierra Nevada, and the Vega de Granada.
The tour always includes a visit to the Renaissance palace of Emperor Charles I, where I’ll explain its history and fascinating symbolism!
On the day of the tour, please bring your purchased and printed ticket, along with your physical ID or passport. Depending on the number of participants, audio guides may be needed to hear the guide; these cost approximately €2.

On arrival
I’ll be waiting 15 minutes before the tour starts in front of the Las Mimbres restaurant at the Alhambra. You can quickly hop on a red minibus at Plaza Isabel la Católica—they run frequently, and you’ll arrive in just a few minutes.
The minibus drops you off in front of the Las Mimbres restaurant, quite close to the ticket offices. I’ll be waiting for you there with my official guide ID, and before the tour, I’ll also let you know how to recognize me when you arrive.
Things to note
Please be sure to arrive on time at the meeting point, 10–15 minutes before the start of our tour!
- Each visitor must bring their original passport or national ID card—never a photo!
Each person must bring their own admission ticket, including children. Adults accompanying children without an ID must bring the family register.
- Depending on the size of the group, audio guides must be used in accordance with ALHAMBRA REGULATIONS.
(For example, for groups of 2 to 4 people, the guide does not need to rent audio guides.) As the number of participants increases, audio guides are required.
The cost is separate for the customer; renting each audio guide typically costs 2 to 3 € per person and must be paid to the guide, who will provide a receipt.
This will allow the group to enter the monument together.
- Wear comfortable shoes.
- Do not bring selfie sticks for photos.
- It is prohibited to touch the monument, lean on columns, pick flowers, or eat.
- There is a designated area for eating; in most parts of the monument, it is prohibited to eat or drink coffee, soft drinks, etc.
- Strollers must be left at the coat check areas inside the Alhambra.
Cancellation policy
Free Cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts. Late cancellation or your non-arrival is not refundable.
